PURPOSE:To read out recorded data and display the location, etc., of a desired ship at a control center when necessary, by providing a means which receives and demodulates signals from a ground station and records the demodulated data in a recording memory table divided for each ship to be controlled. CONSTITUTION:A ship 11 can communicate with a ground station 14 through maritime satellites 13 above the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. Therefore, locational information together with date data, name code, etc., can be sent to the ground station 14 from the antenna 11A of the ship 11. The ground station 14 receives the radio waves from the maritime satellites 13 and transmits the data, such as latitude and longitude of the ship location, measured date, ship name, etc., to a control center 15, to which the ship 14 belongs, through telex or a network system. At the control center 15, the data sent from the ground station 14 are stored in a computer and the data are read out and displayed as occasion demands. |
