PURPOSE:To fetch a reproduced video signal data to a memory surely by providing a dropout detecting means, an error hold means and a hold output averaging means and using a steady-state error signal in place of a phase error signal during dropout period so as to correct the steady-state error signal. CONSTITUTION:If a dropout takes place in a reproduced horizontal synchroniz ing signal PBH in a skew correction circuit locking the phase of an output pulse signal TRE to the phase of the reproduced horizontal synchronizing signal PBH, it is detected by a dropout detecting means 24, and a phase error signal S1 generated in the dropout section in response to the output is subject to holding by error holding means 22, 23. The hold output is averaged by an averag ing means 26 to obtain a steady error signal ES4, the correction is executed by using the steady error signal ES4 in place of the phase error signal S1 during dropout period so as to correct the steady error signal ES4. |
