PURPOSE:To improve the quality peculiar to a rosin, and to improve the reliability of a product made by soldering, by forming a soldering flux by adding hydrogen and nitrogen to the rosin. CONSTITUTION:Gaseous ammonia is brought to a thermal cracking and its thermal cracked gas is led and added into a molten rosin. As for a melting temperature of the rosin, 100-250 deg.C is desirable. Also, as for the temperature of the thermal cracked gas of ammonia to be introduced, when it is heated within a range of 600-800 deg.C, it is cracked to hydrogen and nitrogen of a nascent state, and subsequently, becomes a molecular gaseous hydrogen and a molecular gaseous nitrogen. In this way, the soldering property of a flux is improved. |
