PURPOSE:To enable early setting of the timing for the course correction, by providing wind pressure detection sections on both sides of the front of a vehicle respectively to send out an alarm signal when the pressure difference between both the sections exceeds a fixed value with a differential pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION:Pressure detecting holes 8 and 10 are provided on both sides 4 and 6 of the front of a body 2, namely, on a front fender and connected to a differential pressure sensor 16 with respective pipes 12 and 14. Then, the differential pressure sensor 16 detects a pressure difference between the pressure detection holes 8 and 10 and outputs a voltage proportional to the pressure difference. The differential voltage from the differential pressure sensor 16 is amplified with a control circuit to perform and alarm display proportional to the voltage, for example, a lamp is lighted according to the number corresponding to the strength of side wind and the position indicating the direction thereof. Thus, side wind can be detected at the point where the pressure change is the largest thereby allowing an operator to set the timing for the correction of the course as early as possible. |
