PURPOSE:To decrease the number of component parts to attain a simple and miniature constitution of a picture processor, by using a RAM in place of a multi-stage shift register to hold the picture data. CONSTITUTION:The (n) units of RAM are provided to a picture processor in place of a multi-stage shift register, and an address deciding means decides the vertical and horizontal addresses of a picture memory in the order of scans. While a RAM is selected in response to the bidirectional address of the picture memory. Then the picture data are written in the same horizontal or vertical direction of the RAM by a write control means. The (n) pieces of memory value stored in the RAM are supplied to the shift registers of (n) stages respectively. Then (n) pieces of multipliers are connected to each shift register. The outputs of these multipliers are added together by an adder. This adder delivers a space filtering output. A multiplication coefficient deciding means controls the correspondence between the multiplier and the multiplication coefficient in response to the vertical or horizontal address of the picture memory. Thus a simple and miniature constitution is obtained for a picture processor. |
