PURPOSE:To achieve an automatic U-turn action by a method wherein a set of test tube racks in which groups of test tubes to receive liquid corresponding to groups of test tubes holding a distribution liquid are arranged sideways at an equi-space are sent longitudinally to the distributing position, the sets of corresponding test tubes done laterally and after the end of all the distributions, the set of racks are reversed longitudinally. CONSTITUTION:A set of racks alpha in which groups of test tubes holding a distribution liquid are set on a rack beta1 while groups of test tubes to receive liquid corresponding thereto are set on a rack beta2 in such a manner that the test tubes are arranged laterally in one row at an equi-space (p) is sent longitudinally to the position U1 along a left side guide 5 with a motor 24. Then, the test tubes on the racks beta1 and beta2 are fed to the distribution position one at a time sequentially with a unit driven by a motor 42. After the distribution to a set of racks alpha, a pusher slide plate 11 to be driven by a motor 61 is used to sent it to the right hand conveying line R2 along a right hand side guide 6. Thus, after the end of distribution to all the test tubes, the motors 61, 42 and 24 are reversed to return all the racks to the left hand conveying line R1. Thus, fully automatic U-turn conveyance is accomplished. |
