PURPOSE:To obtain dried laver free from cracking in high heat efficiency, by blowing high-temperature air upon laver with high water content in the first period of drying to promote drying, and introducing relatively low- temperature air to laver with low water content in the latter period of drying. CONSTITUTION:Air heated by the burner 8 is sent through the air feed pipe 15 to the radiating pipe 14, and the drainboards 2 are sent from the upper step A to the lower step B in the dryingchamber 1. High-temperature air warmed by the radiating pipe 14 is hit against the laver 3 with high water content on the upper step in the first period of drying to dry the laver, passed through the heat exchanger 9 and released from the exhaust vent 10. The open air is passed through the heat exchanger 9 as shown by the arrow a, the temperature of the air is a little raised, sent through the opening part 18, and hit against the laver 3 with low water content on the lower step B side to dry the laver. |
