PURPOSE:To decrease the mixing of toners of different colors to no bindrance in practical use in an image forming device which forms multi-color images by providing a means for consuming the toners including a developing process out of the image forming region of an image forming body. CONSTITUTION:An image forming body 1 is turned at a speed of over 3 seconds per revolution in the arrow direction and 4-color toner images of yellow, magenta, cyan and black are superposedly formed when said body rotates 4 turns. A solid yellow latent image Ey1 and a yellow latent image Ey2 are first formed by a semiconductor laser beam scanner 3 and are reversely developed with the positive yellow toner by a developing device 4A, by which the solid yellow toner image Dy1 and yellow toner image Dy2 are formed. The multi-color toner images are formed in the 2nd and subsequent rotations in the same manner while the forming position of the solid latent images is different. Since the solid latent images are developed in precedence in this stage, the toners of the mixed colors among the toner in the developing device are consumed. The toners contain much of the replenished toner when the latent image is developed. The trouble with the mixed color toners is thus decreased. |
