PURPOSE:To improve electrical discharge characteristic and reduce cost by retaining conductivity by mixing of a little amount of silver powder by using a pellet type positive pole made by mixing dendritic silver powder with silver oxide which is a main active matter and compressing to form. CONSTITUTION:Dendritic silver powder of particle diameter of 5mum of 4wt% is mixed with granular silver oxide powder as conductive assistant and the mixture is compressed to form a pellet type positive pole 1. And it is combined with negative pole mixture 4 made by mixing polyacryl acid soda with mercurat ed zinc powder, a separator 6, an electrolyte impregnant 7 and electrolyte dis solving zinc oxide in potassium hydroxide to form a silver oxide battery. Then, high efficient electrical discharge can be made with a little amount of assistance as dendritic silver powder has large surface area and enters into narrow portions in granular silver oxide powder, and production cost can be reduced and produc tivity can be improved by making the pellet to be hard to break. |
