PURPOSE:To enhance the magnetic efficiency of the titled solenoid, to accomplish a low power consuming operation ad a high speed operation, and to contrive reduction in the cost of manufacture by a method wherein magnetic attraction force is utilized effectively. CONSTITUTION:In the state wherein the amount of displacement of a plunger 12 reached maximum, the overlapping amount (d) of the end face 12a of the plunger 12 and the inner circumference drum 14a of the second fixed core 14 is reduced. Accordingly, the force in the direction reverse to the displacement direction up to that time is increased, and attracting force is reduced. Thus, the rapid lowering of the attraction force after exceeding the peak value is suitable for the high speed operation of the return movement of the plunger 12, and a desired performance characteristics can be obtained by properly selecting the overlapping amount (d) in the state wherein the displacement amount of the plunger 12 reached maximum. When a coil 15 is demagnetized under the above-mentioned condition, the plunger 12 returns to its original position by the force of a return spring 18, the end face 12a comes in contact with the end face 14b of the fixed core, and it returns to the stop position. As the inner circumference drum 14a of the fixed core 14 is facing to the outer circumference drum 12b which constitutes a magnetic flux receiving part 22 almost on the whole region, the stream of the magnetic flux becomes smooth. |
