The invention in question concerns an arrangement on a reception hopper, on a coating machine, for the distribution of a layer of reinforced coating material such as asphalt or concrete. The machine has a centrally located transport unit (11) at the bottom of the hopper (4) designed to transport the coating material in a corresponding direction to the machines longitudinal axis from the hopper to a distribution mechanism. On the respective sides of the transport unit (11), the bottom of the hopper is steered around an axle parallel to the longitudinal axle in order to tip the coating material into said transport unit (11). An innovation with the invention is that the bottom (4) of said respective tippable side parts (1) of the reception hopper features an adjustable rake (5) arranged on an axle (6) which lies adjacent to said tipping axle. The idea behind the rake is to move the coating material from the side parts (1) of the reception hopper to the transport unit (11) via a sweeping movement across at least a part of the circumference of the side parts (1).<IMAGE> |
