A cycle stanchion consisting of an anchoring section (1) designed to anchor the cycle stanchion to a base, and a number of holding parts (2) designed to hold separate cycles. Each holding part is deployed with an upper and a lower connecting position (15, 18) in the anchoring section via a connecting element (23) at its two ends (6, 12). Each holding part is adjustable to various angles around the anchoring section. Each one of the connecting elements (23) displays a locking section (31) with angled exterior surfaces. The upper and lower connecting positions (15, 18) of the anchoring section, along with the two ends of each holding part (2), display insertion spaces (21, 22) for the connecting elements. These insertion spaces also display an angled cross-section shape with the kind of similar dimensions that, at each connecting position, the inserted connecting element is arranged with its locking section to locate itself in both the insertion space in the anchoring section and the insertion space in the holding part and, with its angled exterior, engage with side exteriors (24, 26) in the insertion spaces in order to position the holding parts in one or the other of at least three allotted positions.<IMAGE> |
