PURPOSE:To block electronic parts such as electromagnetic valve from unnecessary current by releasing a brake locking unit when a shift lever mechanism is set to the vehicle stopping position. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic valve 3 of a brake locking unit 2 is adapted to hold brake liquid pressure automatically generated by the operation of a foot brake 11 even if the control of a service brake (foot brake 11) by a driver is interrupted. A brake controller 6 receives respective signals from a P position detecting means 7 for detecting the vehicle stopping position setting signal of a shift lever 4 to control the ON/OFF of the electromagnetic valve 3. The brake controller 6 interrupts the braking of the foot brake 11 caused by a brake locking unit 2 when a shift lever 4 is set to the parking position and said brake locking unit 2 is operated. |
