PURPOSE:To prevent the failure occurrence due to nickel plating burrs during sealing by setting the plating hardness of the bent section on the opening side of a positive electrode to 400-600 by Vickers hardness in a small-sized button type cell. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized button type cell is formed by bending the opening end of a nickel-plated positive electrode case 1 to the sealing plate 2 side via an insulating packing and sealing it. In this case, the plating hardness of the bent section on the opening side of a positive electrode case 1 is set to 400-600 by Vickers hardness, larger than the conventional one. Accordingly, burrs due to cutting chip-like nickel plating powder can be prevented from occurring on the upper end section A of the positive electrode case 1 via the local pressure during sealing, sticking to the sealing plate 2, and causing a short-circuit and unsatisfactory insulation, thereby reliability can be improved. |
