PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of acceleration test, by obtaining the total amount of current to be conducted through the first and second heaters based on the difference between the present temperature in an outer tube 2, which is a container of an environment resistance tester, and the actual temperature in the outer tube 2. CONSTITUTION:The temperature control method of the environment resistance tester of the present invention is as follows. The total amount of current to be conducted through a first heater 10 for heating air in an outer tube 2 and through a second heater 24 for heating a plug is obtained, based on the difference between the preset temperature in an outer tube 2, which is a container of the environment resistance tester and the actual temperature in the outer tube 2. When the amount of the total current conduction is small, the current to the heater 10 is stopped and only the amount of current to the heater 24 is adjusted in correspondence with said total current conduction. When the total current conduction is increased to the extent it is not satisfied by only the current conduction of the heater 24, the current conduction of the heater 10 is adjusted in conjunction with the total current conduction, with the current being conducted through the heater 24. Therefore, the temperature in the container of the tester does not exceed the preset temperature, and the reliability of the acceleration test is improved. |
