PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized light weight generator capable of supplying low pressure O2 with a simple procedure by constituting the generator of an internal bag for separately contg. sodium percarbonate, aq. H2O2, and a decomposition catalyst, and an external bag for housing the internal bag being provided with a gas purifying membrane and a mask thus permitting O2 generation by mixing the content in the internal bag at the stage of using. CONSTITUTION:1:1.5-5 proportion by weight of granular sodium percarbonate 5 and 0-6% aq. H2O2 3 packed in a moisture-proof vinyl resin bag laminated with Al, and decomposition catalyst 4 (consisting of MnO2 corresponding to 0.5-8wt% basing on the amt. of the sodium percarbonate) packed in a soluble paper bag are contd. separately in an internal bag 2 which serves also as a reactor. The internal bag 2 is housed in an external bag 1 provided with a gas purifying membrane 6 made of chemical fiber incorporated with a water-absorptive polymer, active carbon, etc. and a mask 7. Both bags are sealed to each other by sewing or welding. Suitable material for the bag 2 is chemical fiber (water-proof finished urethane or acryl fiber) having 0.01-0.5kg/cm<2> resistance to hydraulic pressure, 2kg/cm<2> pressure resistance, and 7-20cm<3>/cm<2>.min permeation flow rate, and suitable material for the bag 1 is air-tight PE, PP, etc. The bag contg. the aq. H2O2 3 in the bag 2 is opened by pressing the center of the bag 1 at use, to disperse the catalyst 4 so as to contact and mix with sodium percarbonate 5 to cause generation of O2. |
