PURPOSE:Cooling water is jetted from the bottom to allow buckets to turn over so that the cooling water is allowed to pass through the noodles in the bucket, as they are well stirred whereby the noodles are rapidly cooled down to the core part with high efficiency. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water which is cooled down in the cooler 9 and stored in tank 1 is pumped to the jetting pipe 2 and jetted from the nozzle 3 to effect cooling of the boiled noodles 12 in buckets 11 which are conveyed in the cooling water. Individual valves 6 for jetting nozzles are changed alternately in their opening to control the jetting pressure so that the buckets are allowed to turn over once to thrice and the noodles are cooled down as they are allowed to turn over and be stirred. |
