<p>PURPOSE:To make the densities of the colors of a color filter uniform by dyeing a film forming agent applied to a substrate with dyes in the order of increasing colorability. CONSTITUTION:A film forming agent 2 is applied to a substrate 1 and exposed to such a degree that the agent 2 is not well cross-linked and set. A positive type photoresist 3 is applied to the agent 2, exposed through a prescribed mask 4, and developed. Parts of the agent 2 not covered with the photoresist 3 are dyed green G with a green dye, and the agent 2 are partially dyed with red R with a red dye and blue B with a blue dye in the same way in succession. The agent 2 is less colorable green, colorable red, and more colorable blue. The remaining photoresists are removed, and a color filter 7 having three colors is obtd.</p> |
