In a timer having multiple cam discs 11, Fig. 2, adjustable on a shaft 3 and held in position by springs (13), Fig. 1 (not shown), engaging teeth against corresponding teeth 9 on members 8 fixed to the shaft 3, removable U-shaped keys 16, 17 are slid into position over fixed bars 15, to engage lugs 14 on the cams 11 and hold the cams 11 against rotation whilst the shaft 3 is rotated forcibly to the required setting. The shaft has a knurled adjusting knob (4), Fig. 1 (not shown), with indicia whereby the required settings may be made from one end of the timer. |
