发明名称 PHOTOMAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To protect a magnetic recording layer against the influence of temp. and to improve the durability thereof by consisting protective layers of oxide coated films of Ti, Al or Zr. CONSTITUTION:An alloy such as MnBi or MnAlGe is formed to an ordinary thickness by a sputtering method, etc. as a magnetic recording layer 12 for a photomagnetic recording medium on a substrate 11 consisting of glass, plastics, etc. The substrates are adhered to each other by an adhesive agent, etc. in such a manner that the magnetic recording layers 12, 12' positioned on the inner side face each other. Writing is executed from the rear side of the substrates 11, 11'. The protective layers 13, 13', 14, 14' are provided above and/or below the layers 12. The protective layers are made of the oxide coated films consisting of Ti, Al or Zr. The photomagnetic recording medium has the protective layers consisting of the oxide coated films of Ti, Al, Zr on and/or below the magnetic recording layers in the above-mentioned manner and therefore the moisture resistance is improved and the deterioration with lapse of time is decreased even after long-term use at and under a high temp. and high humidity and the durability is improved.
