PURPOSE:To prevent blow-up upon starting of an engine, rough-idle operation just after starting of the engine and engine stall, by supplying auxiliary fuel into an intake-air passage to start the engine and by controlling the idle opening degree of a throttle valve just after starting of the engine. CONSTITUTION:If the opening degree of a throttle valve is not set at a starting time opening degree upon starting of an engine, the idle opening degree of a throttle valve is set to the starting time opening degree at the step SO3 to supply auxiliary fuel into an intake-air passage to start the engine. At the step SO5 the rotational speed of the engine is controlled to be set to a desired rotational speed under such a condition that the idle opening degree is controlled just under starting of the engine to be gradually increased to a desired opening degree which may be determined in accordance with the temperature of the engine. Thus, it is possible to prevent blow-up upon starting of the engine, rough-idle operation just after starting of the engine and engine stall. |
