PURPOSE:To suppress increase in pressure at the upstream side of a regulation valve at the time of load run-back and control quantity of steam to reach the specified value quickly by providing a bypass line extending from a steam line between a boiler and the regulation valve up to a condenser so as to regulate the quantity of steam which is to flow through said bypass line. CONSTITUTION:A bypass line 17 which extends from a steam line between a boiler 1 and a steam regulation valve 3 up to a condenser 16 is provided and a turbine bypass valve 15 is mounted in said line 17. A controller A' receives both a pressure signal E from a boiler steam pressure detector 18 and a pressure signal F from a regulating valve output pressure detector 19, calculates a turbine run-back command signal from those signals and sends the command signal to a regulation valve 3 to control the regulation valve 3 until the opened degree thereof reaches the specified value corresponding to the self-cooling capacity of a turbine driving generator. A control signal in accordance with a differential pressure between the front and the rear part of the regulation valve is sent to the bypass valve 15 to control it, whereby suppressing increase in pressure due to throttling action of the regulation valve. |
