PURPOSE:To obtain a wear resistant thermal sprayed surface layer having superior scuffing resistance by mixing white cast iron particles with Mo particles, chromium carbide particles and Ni-Cr alloy particles in a specified ratio and by plasma-spraying the mixed particles to form a layer having partially pores among the particles. CONSTITUTION:Mixed particles are prepd. by mixing 30-50wt% white cast iron particles with 20-35wt% Mo particles, 15-40wt% chromium carbide particles and 3.75-10wt% Ni-Cr alloy particles. The mixed particles are plasma- sprayed to obtain a sprayed surface layer having partially pores among the particles. Since the surface layer has high oil retentivity, the wear and scuffing resistances are improved. |
