PURPOSE:To prevent erosion, abnormal combustion or the like and facilitate the discovery of abnormality by a method wherein a neutralization device neutralizing condensed water is provided in the device or a condensed water overflow pipe is provided in one part of the condensed water pipe. CONSTITUTION:A condensed water overflow pipe 11 is provided on the upper portion of the neutralization device 10. The condensed water passed through the condensed water pipe 9 is flowed into the neutralization device from the entrance port 12 of it and is discharged out of the outlet port 14 of it to the outside of the device by neutralizing agent. The overflow pipe 11 provided on the upper portion of the neutralization device is constituted so as not to flow the condensed water in normal condition. In the combustion device constituted like this, the condensed water stagnated in the neutralization device 10 flows into the condensed water overflow pipe 11 and is discharged to the outside of the device in case impurities or foreign matter are generated or mixed in the neutralization device 10 and the neutralizing treatment path is closed. Even when the neutralizing treatment path is being closed, the condensed water is discharged out of condensed water overflow pipe 11, therefore, the condensed water will never overflow a receiving plate 8 and drip on a main heat exchanger 2 and a gap burner 1. |
