<p>PURPOSE:To provide a painted steel material having excellent flexibility and impact resistance by forming the chemical treating film of a phosphate treating agent and the coated film of a specifically composed epoxy resin on the surface of the steel material having specific surface roughness. CONSTITUTION:The chemical treating film having 0.1-10g/m<2> dry film weight is formed by a phosphate treating liquid, chromate treating liquid or chromic acid treating liquid on the surface of the steel material which is subjected prelim inarily to a surface treatment so as to have 10-120mu surface roughness (max. roughness specified in JISB0601). The coated film consisting of an epoxy resin powder paint having >=0.1mm thickness is then formed thereon by 100pts.wt. bisphenol A type epoxy resin having <5% ratio of the number of the non- reactive terminal groups in the total number of terminal groups, 30-100pts.wt. needle-like glass powder having >=50mu average length subjected to the surface treatment by a silane coupling agent and >=5 aspect ratio, >=30pts.wt. granular inorg. filler (titanium dioxide, etc.) having <=1.0mu average particle size and about <=2 aspect ratio and hardener.</p> |
