PURPOSE:To eliminate an excessively large rush current to a semiconductor power control element by connecting a negative temperature coefficient resistance element in series with the control element inserted in series with a blower motor. CONSTITUTION:A blower motor 3 is connected through a negative temperature coefficient element 11 and a semiconductor power control element 2 with an AC power source 1. The element 11 is mounted in a case 12 of the motor 3. When a trigger signal is applied to the gate of the element 2, the resistance value of the element 11 is large. Accordingly, an excess rush current does not flow into the element 2. When the element 2 rises at its temperature so that the plate 12 becomes high at its temperature, the element 11 rises at its temperature, and its resistance value decreases. Thus, the element 11 does not disturb the power supply to the motor 3 from the power source 1 in the normal state. |
