Fried potato chip machine -dispenses standard quality - and length without handling

Fried potato chips start from a potato flour bin which portions out to a mixer where water is added to form a liquid mixture. This is passed to a plunger press fitted with a bottom spring supported plunger to hold the liquid in until increasing solidification under the effect of the spring-loaded upper plunger releases the bottom plunger and the mass is extruded through a ring of nozzles round the press cylinder and cut to lengths by slicer wire. The pieces (chips) drop to a fat bath with wire basket and thence are removed through a dispenser shaft to the consumer. Quality, size, taste etc. are standard, no handling involved, clean conditions assured by enclosing process in a machine housing.
