The device has a bolt (22) passing through a hole in the panel (2) and engaging, via a clip-type nut (7), with the dashboard (1). Since such panels are usually of plastics while the dashboard is of metal, they are liable to work loose or crack in time. The nut has an external spring face, against which a shoulder (24) on the bolt bears. This distorts it so as to bear against the panel. |
