The device according to the invention is characterised in that it comprises a ring 2 fixed to the said shaft 1 and equipped with a radial slit 3, a slide 4 mounted so as to move in a plane passing through the diameter of the said shaft 1 and returned towards the said shaft 1 by elastic means 6, the end 5 of the said slide 4 adjacent to the said shaft 1 interacting with the said ring 2 under the action of the said elastic means 6, a member 8, 9 for holding the said slide 4 beyond the said ring 2 against the action of the said elastic means 6, and means 10, 11 for freeing the said slide 4.
