PURPOSE:To secure such an effective vibro-isolating shaft member as having no directability, by coupling core materials divided into plural core material constituent pieces on a plane surface along axis via a viscous material set up between cut surfaces, while inserting the coupled one into the inner part of a pipe material shell body. CONSTITUTION:To assemble a shaft part 3, four core material constituent pieces 13 are coupled together by a viscous material 7 and unitized in one, thus a core material is formed. And, a viscous material 6 is applied to the outer circumferential surface, while the core material 12 is inserted into a shell body 11 with an adhesive applied to an inner surface of the shell body 11 as a wet active material and with solidification of the adhesive, the core material is inserted into the shell body via the viscous material. And, when a work is machined by a boring tool using this vibro-isolating material, such exciting force as producing chattering vibration against the boring tool acts on there but this vibration makes all viscous materials produce a large strain by action of the core material installed inside the tool in order to improve vibration damping capacity. With this constitution, energy is absorbed and vibrations in the boring tool is prevented from occurring. |
