PURPOSE:To improve resolution in the horizontal direction by displacing an incident light on an image pick-up cell between alternate fields. CONSTITUTION:In a two-dimensional image pick-up cell array 12 in which an image pick-up cell 10 is placed two-dimensionally, a color filter, in which a color filter segment is placed mosaicly, is placed on it. A rectangular transparent flat plate member 24 is parallelly supported to the array by supporting members 16 and 18. A control circuit 32 drives an image pick-up device 14 by a clock, synchronizes to an action to read a video signal from an output 36, controls a driving power source 30, vibrates a flat surface member 24 by driving a bimorph vibration member 22, and makes the flat plate member 24 incline up to about 1 deg. for the period of a B field against the period of an A field of a series of alternate fields. In this way, a picture light, which is image- formed to a photographic area 52 by the A field, is picked up, and at the B field after this, the picture light, which is image-formed to the position shown by a dotted line 54 at the time of the A field, is picked up. Thus, resolution in the horizontal direction can be improved up to two times essentially. |
