The invention relates to the arrangement of cylinders and drums in printing machines, in particular in sheet-fed offset printing machines. The object is to provide an arrangement of cylinders and drums which guarantees assembly and demounting of cylinders and drums without displacing the frame walls with a reduction in the width of the printing machine, allows the installation of preassembled modules, and reduces the transmission of vibrations from the drive element and has an uncomplicated bearing and connection between the drive axle and the basic body. The object is achieved in that the basic body is arranged so as to have rotary movement on the drive axle connected rigidly to the first frame wall and is assigned to the drive element via a bush which passes through the bearing bore of the second frame wall.
