<p>Constant boiling composn. consists of 74-58wt.% perfluorodimethylcyclobutane (I) and 26-42wt.% 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoroethane (II) and has b.pt. ca. 40 degrees C. The (I) pref. consists of 53-72wt.% 1,2-cis- and 47-28 wt.% 1,2-trans- and traces of cis- and trans13-perfluorodimethylcyclobutane. The composn. is used as a dielectric ebullient coolant with good dielectric properties and of f.pt. much lower than -23 degrees C.</p> |
