摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a quick visual judgement of states by a method wherein the degree of coloration of a test piece is detected optically and the detection signal is processed in a signal processing system to display the quantitative value of substance to be detected and the results of judgment on the state corresponding to the value alternately at a specified time. CONSTITUTION:In a biochemical measuring apparatus for urine sugar or the like, after the degree of coloration of a test piece unused is detected, a xerographic correction of a calibration curve is performed and then, the concen tration of urine sugar is calculated based on the calibration curve from the degree of coloration of the test piece subsequently immersed into urine. The concentration of urine sugar is classified as normal, cautious, rather high and high respectively for 50, 51-100, 101-200, and 201-500mg/dl and very high for 500mg/dl. For example, 12mg/dl is classified as normal and so, 12 and '---' are displayed alternately at a given time interval. 73 and '=' are done so for 73mg/dl, 125 and a symbol of T for 125 mg/dl, 381 and a symbol of T for 381mg/dl and 890 and a symbol of T for 890mg/dl respectively.
