In a condensation water collection tray whose floor section, which is located between a heat exchanger for heating purposes and an evaporator, runs in the transverse direction of the vehicle in a roof shape and in which the condensation water is carried away by laterally arranged run-off connecting pieces, there is no underseepage of the heat exchanger for heating purposes and its laminas are not fed with condensation water even when water collects in the condensation water collection tray if, as proposed, the run-off connecting pieces lead away from the floor section arranged between evaporator and heat exchanger for heating purposes, and a boundary wall, constructed as a wash plate, of the condensation water collection tray is raised on the inflow side of the heat exchanger for heating purposes so as to rest tightly against it.
