PURPOSE:To make the flow of an electrolytic solution smooth with a positive sealing property, by providing the shell of a cylinder with a flange made of material identical to that of the cylinder while a pressure resistant passage through which the electrolytic solution flows is provided in an electrode. CONSTITUTION:A pH gauge sensor is made up of a cylinder 1 comprising a glass element tube having a flange 1a made of material identical to that thereof integral on the shell thereof, tubes 4 and 7, a tube holder 5, a pipe 6, a comparison electrode 8 comprising an electrolytic solution 81, an internal electrode and a liquid communicating section 83, a glass electrode 9, O-rings 11 and 11', a liquid earth, a temperature measuring resistor and the like. With such an arrangement, the O-ring 11' can employ a teflon O-ring to secure a sufficient sealing for a corrosive solution to be measured. Moreover, the smooth flow of the electrolytic solution 81 enabling a high pressure supply thereof 81 thereby preventing the reversing of the solution flow being measured even in the case of a high pressure thereof. |
