Connecting arrangement between a ceramic shaft and a metal shaft

A description is given of a connecting arrangement for uniting a ceramic (shaft) element to a metal (shaft) element, the two elements each having essentially cylindrical end sections. The end sections are butted against a connecting means for the connection of the two elements. A sleeve element which surrounds the joint is secured at least on the surface of the end section of the member which has a composition largely similar to that of the sleeve element. If the sleeve element is composed of metal, it is secured over a certain surface area on the metal part of the member.
