On the basis of a pressure switch having a torsion spring which has at least one spring turn and a straight limb projecting therefrom whose one end is connected to a plunger or slide which can be displaced by a rotating lever, and contacts of the pressure switch are bridged by these spring parts and the spring limb executes a sliding movement during switching on, one half of the spring turn is pressed against a stationary contact as a contact stop, a projection protruding from a housing part or housing cover being used as the pressing means, and tilting of the spring helix being prevented by a first wall of a housing plate and/or a second wall of a supporting element.
