PURPOSE:To improve stability of an arc by simple constitution by forming a conduit tube by winding a metallic wire spirally, winding coarsely near the center of a part of the body of a torch inserted to a curved part, and winding in close contact in other parts. CONSTITUTION:Inner diameter of the body 11 of the torch is made larger than outer diameter of the conduit tube 10, and welding gas flows in the space between the two. The conduit tube 10 is supported at the axial center of the body 11 of the torch by the tip of the body 11 of the torch and a gas reverse flow check fitting 14, and a welding wire is fed in its center. A part of the conduit tube 10 wound coarsely near the center of curved part of the body 11 of the torch is low in rigidity, and local bending is caused in that part. By using such a conduit tube that is bent locally, vibration becomes local and hard to spread to the whole. Thus, stability of the arc is improved. |
