The invention relates to a mast-foot arrangement for a sailboard, in which a connector on the rig side is provided in a socket, which is part of a slide guided in such a way as to be variable in position in a longitudinally running guide rail fastened to the sailboard. This slide, by actuation of a button (fixed to the guide rail or the sailboard) via an operative connection like a cam rail arranged in the guide rail in a longitudinally displaceable manner, is released from the catch location by removing a catch element and becomes displaceable. A connector-side driver guides a socket-side ring with an eye for connecting the starting sheet as a rig-securing connecting line. The separation, required for safety, of connector and socket is effected against the force of a sliding spring or also via a spring-preloaded catch system.
