An arrangement with a seat or backrest frame (10) and an upholstery cover (15) which is fastened thereto and whose reinforced edge region grips, in the shape of a U, behind a flange of the frame (10) is to be improved such that a tight fit of the cover (15) is achieved, with the mounting being simple and few fastening parts required. According to the proposal, the flange (12) for this purpose has an outwardly bent web (13), and one leg (17) of a U-shaped profile strip (16) serves as reinforcement, the other leg (19) of which has an inwardly directed nose (20) which grips behind the web (13). <IMAGE>
