A description is given of a device for lubricating the bearing (6) of a rotating mass (3) held on an eccentric collar (2) of a drive shaft (1), the rotating mass being, in particular, a displacer carrier of a scroll-type positive displacement machine (G-Lader) used as a charge-air compressor (supercharger) for internal combustion engines. Provided in the drive shaft (1) are longitudinal lubricant feed and, if required, drainage passages (10, 13), which are connected via transverse holes (11, 12) arranged in the eccentric collar (2) to a bearing space (5) sealed off from the outside by ring seals (9), to provide a flow of lubricant which acts on the bearing (6). To ensure that any impurities carried along by the lubricant do not accumulate in the bearing space (5), possibly leading to impairment of the functioning of the bearing, at least one essentially radial oil drainage line (15), connected to the bearing space (5), is to be provided in the rotating mass (3) and connected in a radially outer region of the rotating mass (3) to a return passage (17) arranged in a fixed housing (18). <IMAGE> |
