<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of a rotary disc without using the same made of a special material, by injecting clean gas to the under surface of the rotary disc for spraying a chemical agent in an acidic gas removing apparatus to purge said rotary disc. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas is introduced into a reaction tower 1 from the exhaust gas inlet thereof while a slurry like chemical agent flowed down from a nozzle 4 is sprayed and scattered in the reaction tower 1 while a rotary disc 5 is rotated. The exhaust gas fallen while revolved in the reaction tower 1 is contacted with the sprayed chemical agent to remove the acidic gas such as HCl in the exhaust gas. On the other hand, air being clean gas is guided to a conduit 10 from a blower and injected toward the under surface of the rotary disc 5 from a nozzle 9 while heated by a heater 12. The under surface of the rotary disc 5 is purged with jet air to prevent the formation of a wet atmosphere and, because jet air is heated, the atmosphere is held at the dew point or more of the acid such as HCl or SO2 in the exhaust gas to prevent the corrosion of the rotary disc 5.</p> |
