A pump has hoses tensioned between input and output manifolds in an arc about a rotor carrying spaced protuberances. The manifolds are pivotally mounted to rock about axes parallel to the rotor axis to accommodate tilting movements of the hose ends as the rotor rotates. - The manifolds are pref. of plastics and have integral projecting hose nipples, and the rotor has roller shafts parallel to the rotor axis and phenolic resin sleeves mounted on the shafts for rolling contact with the hoses. A resilient hose tensioner pref. comprises a movable support for one manifold and an adjustment member for the support, with a spring compressed between the member and a manually adjustable element.
