A fatty acid/hydroxyalkyl polyamine condensation prod. is used as opacifier and thickener in liq. anionic surfactant-free compsns. contg. textile-softening quat. ammonium cpds. and at least 10 wt.% nonionic surfactants. - Specifically the quat. ammonium cpds. are imidazolinium cpds. contg. 2 10-24C alkyl- or esp. alkenyl gps., partic. 2 oleyl gps. The nonionic surfactants are adducts of C2H4O and/or C3H6O at fatty alcohols and/or oxo-alcohols or esp. mixts. of fatty-and oxo-alcohol ethoxylates. The condensn. prods. are reaction prods. of triglycerides of higher fatty acids with hydroxyalkyl polyamines.
