The invention relates to a process for reconditioning soil contaminated with cyanides, heavy metals, organic compounds and/or the like, comprising: a) the step wherein contaminants are separated from the contaminated soil by flotation: b) the step wherein the float is removed; and c) the step wherein the flotation residue is washed, and is characterized by: d) the step wherein contamination is freed from the flotation residue by hydrolysis, and/or the step wherein prior to the flotation step a, a soil fraction up to a predetermined particle dimension is separated by scalping. Preferably a mono-unsaturated fatty acid notably oleic acid is used as collector during flotation. Advantageously the flotation residue is washed in a number of subsequently groups of cyclones, each group consists of at least one cyclone.
|
