PROCESSING SOLUTION FOR SILVER COMPLEX SALT DIFFUSION TRANSFER

PURPOSE:To obtain stably favorable photographic characteristics independently of changes in processing conditions by adding at least two kinds of specified amino-alcohols. CONSTITUTION:At least two kinds of amino-alcohols each having <9pKa value in an aqueous soln. contg. 50wt% ethanol at 25 deg.C are added to a DTR processing soln. The preferred difference between the pKa values of the amino- alcohols is >=0.3. The characteristics of the processing soln. can be kept stable by adding the amino-alcohols even when the soln. absorbs CO2 which is the principal cause of the deterioration of the soln. The dependency of the processing soln. on changes in processing conditions is reduced, favorable photographic characteristics are obtd., and the suitability to running processing is improved.
