PURPOSE:To conduct efficiently to a cooling duct a heat generated from a winding, by packing an insulative substance such as polyethylene between the inside-diameter side of the cooling duct fitted to the winding and the outside of the winding. CONSTITUTION:A low-voltage winding 4 and a high-voltage winding 5 which are formed of a metal sheet 2 and an insulating sheet 3 in superposition are wound around the leg portion of an iron core. Moreover, a hollow cooling duct 6 is incorporated in the windings. A refrigerant such as flon R-113 is enclosed in a thin space of the hollow portion of the duct 6. Between the inside- diameter side of the duct 6 and the outside of the insulating sheet 3 an insulative substance 31 is packed so that it makes the duct 6 and the sheet 3 fit closely to each other. |
