PURPOSE:To dissipate transfer vibrating energy, to decrease relative dislocation between a desired track and a magnetic head and to obtain a good electromagnetic converting characteristic by forming the buffered surface using the buffer material at the back surface facing the lubricated surface. CONSTITUTION:At a back surface 5 of the slider connected to a gimbal spring 8 of a floating head supporting device, vibrating energy transferred by installing a buffering part by a buffer material 6 is dissipated by the buffer material 6. As the result, a vibration amplitude of the floating head slider becomes small and a relative dislocation between a desired track and a magnetic head of a recording media surface can be decreased and consequently, a good electromagnetic converting characteristic can be obtained. |
