The process consists of (a) applying to the components at not less than 12 deg.C, a primer layer based on an epoxide resin soln. contg. not less than 25% solids or a polyurethane mono-component soln. contg. not less than 20% solids; (b) applying over this, at not below 12 deg.C, a second coating based on epoxide resin with hardeners of amines and polyamides; and (c) applying over the second coating, at between 18 and 25 deg.C, two to six layers of polyurethane mono- or bi-component resin.
